What to set up on day one so a client can book with you without you having to answer anything.
When you created your account, PuntualLife already set up your business with services and opening hours based on the business type you picked. You are not starting from an empty page. What is left is to review it and share your link.
On the dashboard home you will see the Get your first booking card. Five steps, and they tick themselves off as you go.
1. Review your services
Services already has the ones created at signup. Three things matter on each: the name, the duration and the price. The duration is what blocks the slot in your calendar, so make it realistic.
If a service has nobody under Assigned staff, it is not bookable. That is the single most common reason for "no slots are showing".
2. Adjust your hours
Availability holds the days and hours you are open. Everything else is calculated from there.
Hours are saved in your business time zone, not your browser's. If you travel or your computer is set elsewhere, the business time zone is the one that counts.
3. Customize your booking page
Your public page is what clients see. Add your logo, a photo and a short description. A page with a real photo and your own words converts considerably better than an empty one.
4. Share your link
This is the step people skip, and the only one that actually brings bookings. The Copy booking link button on the home screen gives you the address of your page.
Where to put it, in order of what works:
- Your Instagram or TikTok bio.
- Your WhatsApp status and your WhatsApp Business auto-reply.
- Your Google Business profile, in the appointments field.
- Your email signature.
5. Wait for your first booking
When someone books, the appointment shows up in Bookings and the client gets a confirmation email automatically. You do not have to do anything.
Your account starts with 14 days of the Pro plan, no card required. When they end it drops to the Free plan on its own and you keep all your data. Nothing is charged and there is nothing to cancel.
If you are more than one person
If several of you work together, invite each one from Team. Every member can have their own hours and their own services, and slots are calculated for each of them separately.
