Your clients

Your booking page

The page your clients see: what they can do on it, where to share it, and how cancellations work.

Your public page lives at an address like puntuallife.com/book/your-business. It is the link you share and the only thing your client needs. They install nothing and create no account.

How a client books

They pick the service, pick the day and time, and leave their details. Times are grouped into morning, midday and afternoon, and always shown in your business time zone.

If you have combinable services, they can add extras to the same appointment. They can also use a coupon, a gift card or their points if you have those switched on.

When they finish, the confirmation email goes out automatically.

Where to put the link

In order of what brings bookings:

  • Your Instagram or TikTok bio.
  • Your WhatsApp status and your WhatsApp Business auto-reply.
  • Your Google Business profile, in the appointments field.
  • Your email signature and your cards.

The Copy booking link button on the dashboard home puts it on your clipboard.

Your clients manage themselves

With the email they booked with, and no password, they reach their own page. There they can see their appointments, reschedule, cancel, book again and leave you a review.

The link is in the confirmation email, so you never have to send it.

The cancellation rules

This part is worth knowing, because it is what generates phone calls.

If you configure nothing, the default applies: the client can cancel and reschedule up to 24 hours before. Inside the last 24 hours they can do neither and have to talk to you.

If you turn on the cancellation policy, in Settings, the behaviour changes:

  • You set the window yourself, in hours. The default is 24.
  • Inside the window, cancelling is still allowed and the fee it triggers is shown to them.
  • Inside the window, rescheduling is refused. That is deliberate: otherwise moving the appointment would be the way to dodge the fee.
  • You can set a grace period: cancelling within that many hours of booking is free and unrestricted.
  • You write the message the client sees, with the window and the amount inside it.

The late-cancellation fee is informational. The app shows it to the client and cancels the appointment, but it does not charge anything automatically. Collecting it, if you do, is on you.

On the Pro plan you can also set different policies for different services.

Your own domain

On Pro or Business you can serve your page on your own domain, something like booking.yourbusiness.com. It is set up in Settings, in the domain section.

The language of your page

The language of your public page and of the emails and texts to clients is chosen in Settings. It is separate from the language you read the dashboard in.
